ZTE might not be the most popular name in the Nepalese market with fewer offerings. But after quite a time, the company has finally launched a new smartphone, the ZTE Nubia Neo in Nepal. Design and Display
In terms of looks, the Nubia Neo boasts a sporty design on the rear side. You get yellow and black stripes, forming a gaming vibe. The frame is also on the slim sides, measuring 7.98mm. ZTE ships this guy in two color options: Phantom Black and War-Damaged Yellow.Talking of the display, the waterdrop notch IPS panel stretches 6.6 inches. Covering a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, the screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Performance
ZTE advertises the Nubia Neo as a gaming phone. Under the hood, there is a Unisoc T820 SoC fabbed on a 6nm process. This Octa-core chip features one Cortex A76 core at 2.7GHz, three Cortex A76 cores at 2.3GHz, and four Cortex A55 cores running at 2.1 GHz. Handling the graphics here is Mali-G57 GPU. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.Likewise, you also get the Game Space on this phone to tune the CPU and GPU to its fullest potential by setting modes. One can also play with the voice options to set different music presets for the game sound. Moreover, there are also plugin options such as Crosshair, Auxillary Line, Stopwatch, and more. To keep the thermals in check, the phone also houses a multilayer heat dissipation system.
Optics
As for the camera, the Nubia Neo sports a dual-camera setup. It comprises a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP depth sensing unit. Over on the front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper.
Moving on, the smartphone gets its juice from a 4500mAh battery with 22.5 wired fast charging support. Connectivity on the phone includes 4G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Moreover, you get a dual stereo speaker setup tuned by DTS X Ultra technology.
