Design and Build
To no one's surprise, the Ultima Boom 161 boasts a plastic build with a long stem design as a budget TWS. The stem of this in-ear TWS has a glossy finish on top with an LED indicator. Audio
Blasting the audio here is a dual 13mm driver, just like on the Ultima Boom 141. The key USP here is its 3EQ profiles: Bass, Balance, and Normal for listening as per your preference. Likewise, with its Beast mode, Ultrima claims a 60ms low latency for gaming. Plus, you also get ENC for passive noise cancellation on this TWS.
Battery and Connectivity
The Boom 161 gets its fuel from a 40mAH cell while the case boasts a 400mAH battery. It comes with ASAP charge technology, allowing you to enjoy 75 minutes of audio playback with just 5 minutes of charging. Furthermore, the battery is rated for a total of 42 hours of playtime.Talking of the connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.3 support with IWP technology. IWP stands for Wake N'Pair which enables the buds to quickly pair to your smartphone after you open the lid of the charging case. Other features include Voice Assistant compatibility with Siri and Google Assistant with a single tap.
