While Samsung updates its Galaxy Watch series annually, the same cannot be said about its "Fit" lineup of fitness bands. Samsung’s last product in the lineup was the Galaxy Fit 2, announced in 2020. Three years later, looks like we will finally be able to see its successor in the form of Galaxy Fit 3. So, let’s walk through all the rumors and leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 fitness tracker.
Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 Rumors Roundup:
Thanks to the recent leaks from "Windows Report", we got our first look at the upcoming Galaxy Fit 3. In addition to that, "91mobiles" has now revealed additional renders of the device in two new colorways. As for the specs, the Fit 3's screen looks a lot bigger than the Fit 2's 1.1-inch panel. Its design looks noticeably different too. It looks larger than most fitness bands and is wider than its predecessor. Furthermore, it appears to boast a microphone on the left side alongside the button.[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="900"] Image: WindowsReport[/caption]Although we don't know much about the details of this fitness band yet, it's likely going to have an AMOLED panel like the Fit 2. Rumors suggest it'll have a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and automatic workout detection too.

In terms of software, we might get to see WearOS (with One UI on top) this time instead of RTOS. And since the watch is physically larger, a bigger battery is a natural expectation too. As for some nice-to-have features, it'd be delightful to see built-in GPS which was lacking in the Galaxy Fit 2. And maybe internal storage too for your songs and other files.
2020's Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 brought a larger 1.1-inch AMOLED screen and twice the battery endurance of its predecessor. But compared to some modern competitors like the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro and the Huawei Band 8, that's essentially nothing. So while Samsung is on the right track with the design of the Galaxy Fit 3, it will need to be competent in the actually health and fitness tracking side of things as well.
Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 Price and Launch Date (Expected)
As per the latest rumors, Samsung might launch the Galaxy Fit 3 in early 2024 — alongside the Galaxy S24 series. Although some rumors suggest it could arrive within the first half of 2024 instead. Likewise, the Galaxy Fit 3 could cost KRW 100,000 (around USD 77 / INR 6,425 / NPR 10,225).
