Xiaomi has just announced a new budget TWS earbuds for the Nepali market. The new Redmi Buds Essential can be a great pick for budget shoppers since it brings Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, 18 hours of battery life, and a dedicated gaming mode for under Rs. 3,000. So without further ado, let’s get into the specs, features, official price, and availability of the Redmi Buds Essential in Nepal.
Redmi Buds Essential Overview:
Design
From the design perspective, the Redmi Buds Essential looks like an extension of the original AirDots lineup. They have a simple in-ear design with silicone tips—without accompanying ear hooks. The earbuds are IPX4 splash resistant and weigh around 4 grams each. Xiaomi offers them in Black and Blue color options.Redmi Buds Essential with a color-matching charging case. The case has a matte finish with Redmi branding on the top. It weighs around 35 grams, including the two earbuds.
Control and Connectivity
Xiaomi’s latest budget earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.2 support, promising improved interference avoidance and better stability. The inclusion of quick pairing means the earbuds will connect as soon as you take them out of the case. Each earbud sports a physical button that you can use for playback control, accept/reject calls, and summon your phone’s voice assistant.
At the heart of the new Redmi Essential Buds are dynamic drivers tuned by Xiaomi Acoustic Lab. The drivers measure 7.2mm in size, and boast an impedance of up to 32 Ohm. Unsurprisingly, there is no Active Noise Cancellation, but Xiaomi does promise a software-based noise reduction that will kick in during calls. There is even an option to enable low-latency mode by holding left and right earbuds for 1.5 seconds.
Battery and Charging
Packing a 43mAh battery each, the Redmi Essential Buds can last up to 5.5 hours on a single charge. Combined with the 300mAh battery of the charging case, Xiaomi boasts 18 hours of endurance. The charging case has a microUSB port at the rear. But you don’t even get a charging cable in the box. So, unless you already have a microUSB charging you will have to buy it separately.
