Poco recently refreshed its mid-range X-series with X5 and X5 Pro. Following that, the company has now launched an entry-level Poco C55 smartphone. So let's go over the Poco C55's specifications, features, availability, and expected price in Nepal.
Poco C55 Overview:
For those who are unaware, the Poco C55 is simply a rebranded Redmi 12C. Poco has tried to add a bit of its own personality here. But the rest of the specifications of this guy is pretty similar to the Redmi counterpart.
Design and Display
As shown in the image, Poco C55 boasts a faux leather back panel. Here, you also get the company's signature black bar which covers the whole width of the smartphone including the camera island. Next to the cameras, you get a fingerprint sensor for biometrics. As a budget phone, the frame is likely to be plastic. On the front, you get a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. There's no mention of a high refresh rate, but you do get a 120Hz touch sampling rate. Likewise, the screen has a brightness of 500 nits and is covered with Panda glass for protection. It also secures an IP52 rating for protection against water splashes. Poco C55 is available in Cool Blue, Power Black, and Forest Green shades, all of which have a leather-like finish.
In charge of things inside is a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC which is an impressive choice for the price. This mobile silicon carries two high-performance Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, thus one should expect a stable day-to-day performance. While it's also enough for gaming in light to medium settings.Memory-wise, you get up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Fueling the smartphone is a 5000mAh battery that charges via a 10W adapter that Poco ships inside the box.
