Oppo's Reno Series has always been about cameras and design. The Reno 10 siblings arrived in July. And the Chinese tech giant has now launched the Reno 11 Series in China. In this article, we'll talk about the vanilla Oppo Reno 11's specs, features, and expected price in Nepal.
Oppo Reno 11 Overview:
Design
Talking of the design, the Reno 11 shares an identical design with its Pro sibling. It boasts a curved and thin 7.4mm frame along an elliptical camera module, housing two circular patterns. Oppo ships this guy in three color options: Moonstone, Fluorite Blue, and Obsidian Black shades. The former two bring an extra touch of patterns, providing an elegant look while the latter one provides a bland vibe.
Display
As for the display, the Reno 11 sports a curved FHD+ 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The peak brightness is rated at 950nits, which is a bit underwhelming. Other than that, you get a wide color gamut, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 394 PPI.
Camera
Now, let's address the elephant in the room. This vanilla model also gets a triple camera setup as its Pro sibling. The primary camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-600 shooter with OIS and f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto unit with 2X optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide unit. Oppo is claiming 'SLR-level' portraits with this setup. For videos, the primary sensor is capable of shooting 4K at 30fps.Over on the front, you get a 32MP snapper for snapping selfies and taking video calls. Sadly, it's still limited to capturing 1080p videos, no 4K recording here.
Under the hood, the Reno 11 packs a Dimensity 8200 chipset. This last-gen 5G SoC from Mediatek features one prime Cortex A78 core at 3.1GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores at 3.0GHz, and four Cortex A-55 cores at 2.0GHz. Handling the graphics front is Mali-G610 MP6 GPU. On the software side, the Reno 11 boots on the latest ColorOS 14 built on top of Android 14.Lastly, the smartphone gets its fuel from a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 5, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. For biometrics security, you get an indisplay fingerprint scanner.
