OnePlus launched the Buds Z2 in China back in October. And now, it's finally available in the Nepali market. Here, we will be discussing all the specs and features of the new OnePlus Buds Z2, along with its official price and availability in Nepal.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Overview:
Design
Last year, OnePlus launched the Buds Z as a cheaper alternative to the Buds Pro. Here, the Buds Z2 looks exactly the same as the original Buds Z. It follows the stem design with silicone ear tips, and is available in two colors: Obsidian Black and Pearl White. These TWS earbuds have IP55 certification, while the case is IPX4 rated against splash damage.Furthermore, the black variant of the earbuds weighs 4.5 grams, while the white color option is slightly heavier at 4.6 grams. Similarly, their respective cases weigh 40.5 and 42 grams. The case charges via a USB-C port.
Inside, the OnePlus Buds Z2 features a bigger 11mm dynamic driver (Buds Z had a 10mm driver). To compare, it's the same audio driver used in the more expensive Buds Pro. There is support for Dolby Atmos spatial audio as well.On the other hand, these earbuds also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). With its triple mic setup on each earbud, OnePlus says the Buds Z2 can reduce ambient noise by up to 40dB. To let in the world outside, it supports Transparency Mode as well.As for connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.2. These earbuds also support the Google Fast Pair (GFP) protocol. Users can change different settings of the earbuds through the HeyMelody app which is available for both Android and iOS users.
Rest of the specs
Aside from this, each earbud has a 40mAh battery that promises up to 7 hours of music playback. It can be extended up to 38 hours with the 520mAh battery of the charging case. OnePlus also claims that just 10 minutes of charge can provide 5 hours of playback time. (case + earbuds).Furthermore, these earbuds have touch controls to play/pause music, wake assistant, and switch noise control mode.
