Nokia has recently unveiled two smartphones in its budget "C" series, which are the Nokia C22 and C32. The former is the cheaper of the two and it comes with a big 5000mAh battery and a fairly durable build quality. Let's see what else Nokia C22 offers, including its features, official specs, expected price in Nepal, and more.

Design and Display

Like other budget phones, the Nokia C22 also has a polycarbonate unibody construction. However, it's not all plastic here since Nokia has used metal frames on this budget phone. On top of this, the C22 is even IP52 dust and splash resistant which is quite unusual for phones in this segment. With all this, Nokia C22 weighs 190 grams and is 8.6mm thick.Coming to the display, it features a regular 6.5" IPS LCD screen with an HD resolution. There is a V-shaped waterdrop notch for the front camera, while you can also notice the thick bezels on all sides (especially at the bottom). Nokia also says this display has toughened glass on top for better protection against drops.

Performance

Unisoc chipsets are all Nokia has to offer in its latest phones. This one is powered by Unisoc SC9863A, which is fabricated under a 28nm process. The SC9863A has an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A55 (@1.6 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 (@1.2 GHz) cores. Then there's the integrated IMG8322 GPU for graphics.Nokia has complemented this with either 2/3GB RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage which can be further expanded via a dedicated SD card slot. As for software, the Nokia C22 ships with Android 13 (Go Edition) for a relatively smooth performance.

Cameras

Nokia C22 has a dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary and a 2MP macro sensor. Up front, you get an 8MP selfie shooter. In terms of videos, its main camera record at up to 1080p 30 fps.

Others

As mentioned in the beginning, Nokia has fueled this phone with a massive 5000mAh battery. But it supports just 10W charging, which is rather slow by 2023's standards. Anyway, Nokia claims that this phone lasts up to 3 days on a single charge. This 4G phone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
