The Meizu 20 Series went official just some months ago with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. And the Meizu 21 is also official. This time, it brings the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 200MP triple camera setup, and super narrow bezels. Meizu 21 Overview:

Design and Display

One of the key USPs here has to be its design. The Meizu 21 boasts an attractive look with a flat frame design and ultra-narrow bezels on the screen. The visual aesthetics is similar to the Meizu 20 but there are some slight differences now. For instance, the Meizu logo now sits in the middle from the left side, and the LED flash around the third camera lens consists of some flashy colors. You also get an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes.Talking of the screen, it is a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. This uniform bezel display houses a tiny hole-puch cutout and boasts 1800nits of peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM dimming, HDR 10+ support and 393 PPI. Meizu ships this guy in four shades: Black, Purple, Green and White. Interestingly, the white variant comes with white bezels.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

Under the hood, the Meizu 21 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This flagship SoC is fabbed under TSMC's 4nm process and features a prime Cortex-X4 at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.15Ghz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96GHz and two Cortex-A520 cores ticking at 2.26GHz. Handling the graphics job is an Adrenon 750 GPU. Meizu has paired this chip with up to 8/12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.Keeping the thermals in check is Meizu's Ice World Cooling Technology. While on the software side, you get Flyme 10.5 OS based on top of Android 14.

Camera

Getting to the optics, the phone rocks a triple camera setup. It is headlined by a 200MP primary shooter with OIS and 4X lossless zoom, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth-sensing unit. In terms of videos, the main sensor is capable of shooting 8K videos. For selfies and video calls, you get a 32MP snapper on the front.
