Design, Display

The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook looks fairly premium with its anodized aluminum top and minimal branding. Available in Storm Grey and Stone Blue color options, the laptop is quite portable as it weighs only 1.82 grams. Since it is a gaming-centric device, it has a four-zone RGB keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel and anti-ghosting.Moving on to the display, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook boasts a 16-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also suitable for productivity work as it has a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB coverage. Besides, the 350 nits brightness means that it should be visible under difficult lighting conditions as well.

Performance on the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming ChromeBook is handled by Intel processors. You can pick one up with either a 12th-gen Intel Core i5-1235U or an Intel Core i3-1215U. The CPU has been paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. For storage, Lenovo offers options for 128GB of eMMC storage or M.2 2242 PCIe SSD (256/512GB).As the name suggests, the IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook boots on ChromeOS. The laptop supports cloud gaming from platforms such as Amazon Luna, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). Lenovo has added some gaming features to the device as well.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook starts at USD 599 for the base 128GB variant. Lenovo has not revealed a release date nor the pricing for other models. We expect the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook to retail for around NPR 100,000 if it launches in Nepal.
