Itel is famous for launching premium-esque features in an affordable price range. They have once again done that with the new Itel P55+! This phone does not have much to go on specs-wise but has some premium-ish features like a leather finish and “Dynamic Bar”. Here, we will discuss the Itel P55+, its specifications, expected price in Nepal, and so on!
Itel P55+ Overview
Design and Display
Itel P55+ comes with a flat design with two large camera cutouts on the back. It is accompanied by an LED flash that resembles a design of a toggle button. It comes in three colour options: Royal Green, Galaxy Blue, and Meteor Purple. Among them, the Royal Green variant boasts a dual-tone leather finish while the other two seem to have a glossy finish with glittery patterns.Meanwhile, we have a 6.6-inch display bordered by thick bezels on the front. This screen features a hole-punch camera cutout and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The company has not clarified what type of panel has been used in the phone, but we expect it to be an LCD panel.
Performance
Under the hood, the Itel P55+ packs a UNISOC T606 SoC which is an octa-core silicone with 12nm lithography. This chipset peaks at 1,600 MHz and is almost two years old at this point. The SoC is coupled with up to 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. When you need more RAM power, you can double the memory capacity virtually on the Itel P55+. It is available in three configurations altogether viz. 4GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. On the software end, the P55+ comes with Android 13.
In the optics department, it comes with a 50MP primary shooter on the rear. It is coupled with an unspecified auxiliary lens. Which is probably a depth camera helping out with portrait shots. In addition to that, you get an 8MP camera on the front for the selfies. The Itel P55+ draws its power from a 5,000 mAh battery with three charging modes. These charging techniques include 45W Hyper Charge, Low-Temp Charge, and Smart Charge. Other than that, it comes with a “Dynamic Bar” feature that displays things like Face Unlock, Background Call, and Battery and charging status.
