Alongside the regular iQOO Z8, the iQOO Z8x is now official in China as well. Both phones look quite similar design-wise, except for a few subtle changes. Design, Display, and Performance
The new iQOO Z8x boasts a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD screen with HDR10+ support. Like the Z8, the Z8x also comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display on both iQOO Z8 and Z8x is exactly the same actually.But in terms of performance, the iQOO Z8x brings a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip instead, which is not as powerful as the Dimensity 8200 on the iQOO Z8. The phone runs on OriginOS 3.0 on top of Android 13.
Storage and Camera
For storage, the Z8x offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device also has an expandable memory support up to 1TB. You can even expand the storage by up to 1TB here. As for cameras, the iQOO Z8x gets a 50MP primary and a 2MP portrait lens. On the front is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Fueling the Z8x is a massive 6000mAh battery with 44W fast flash charging support. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. For charging and data transfer, it comes with a USB Type-C port.

For security, the Z8x has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure unlocking. To keep the temperature in check, the iQOO Z8x gets a 639mm² liquid cooling heat pipe.

The price of iQOO Z8x in China begins from CNY 1,299 (around USD 180 / INR 14,800) for the base 8/128GB variant. We expect the iQOO Z8x price in Nepal to start from NPR 27,499 if and when it launches here.
