iQOO, the Vivo subbrand is the company's answer to providing phones with better specs at relatively cheaper price. Four months after the launch of iQOO Z7, now the news about iQOO Z8 and Z8x is coming in with benchmarks. In this article, we'll go through the leaks and rumors surrounding the iQOO Z8 and Z8x.

Performance

As per the leaks that surfaced on Geekbench, the iQOO Z8 and Z8x bear the model numbers: V2314A and V2312A respectively. Going by the listing, the Z8 will house the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 SoC with 12GB RAM while the Z8x will get the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Likewise, the Z8 is rumored to bring LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. On the other hand, the Z8x might settle with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Display and Battery

Rumor mills have also stated an FHD+ LCD panel for both siblings. What's setting them apart will be the refresh rate, the Z8 will get a 144Hz panel as opposed to the 120Hz panel on the Z8x. Moving on, both smartphones will boot on Android 13 based OriginOS 3, China's version of the FunTouch OS 13. As for the optics, we might get to see a triple camera setup on both duos, without an ultrawide sensor most probably.
