There was so much buzz about Intel entering the graphics card market. And enter they did — with the release of their “affordable” Arc series of graphics cards. In this article, we will specifically discuss the Intel Arc A750 in detail, its price in Nepal, and so on.
Intel Arc A750 Overview
Intel Arc A750 is a member of the Intel Arc 7 series alongside the two variants of the Intel Arc A770. As such, it falls on the higher end of graphics card offerings from Intel. It is also a limited offering from the American multinational tech company.
Hardware
The Intel Arc A750 features a full-length backplate, vapour chamber cooling, and 15-blade dual-axial fans. Under the hood, it follows Xe HPG microarchitecture and TSMC N6 lithography. Furthermore, it has 28 Xe Cores and ray-tracing units each alongside 7 render slices. It also features 448 Intel XMX AI Engines and Xe Vector Engines each.On the memory front, Intel Arc A750 has a single 8 GB GDDR6 option. This memory is a 256-bit interface with bandwidth and speed of 512 GB/s and 16 Gbps respectively. Additionally, the Intel Arc A750 supports up to 16 PCI Express 4.0 as well as four displays via HDMI and DP.
Firstly, the Intel Arc A750 is capable of clocking in at 2,050 MHz while drawing a maximum power of 225 watts. It also supports multiple formats of encode/decode such as H.264 Hardware, H.265 (HVEC) Hardware, AV1, and VP9. Furthermore, it also supports ray tracing, one API, OpenVINO, and Adaptive Sync. On top of that, Intel Arc A750 supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, Vulkan 1.3, OpenCL 3.0, and OpenGL of up to 4.6.As a result, Intel promises high-performance gaming with the Arc A750. They are also claiming we can play over 35 XeSS-enabled games, where we will get to enjoy high image resolution and fidelity with AI-enhanced upscaling. Similarly, the company also says these drivers provide 43% better gaming performance across a wide range of DX9 and eSports titles like CS:GO, LOL, and Lost Ark. Lastly, Arc A750 supports a max resolution of 4096x2160@60Hz via HDMI and 7680x4320@60Hz over on DP.
