Design and Display
The Honor X50 takes a premium design language with a curved screen. The display here is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support. Other attributes of the screen include 1.5K resolution, 1200nits peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM DC Dimming, and 100% DCI-P3 support.Looking at the back, the X50 sports a circular camera module with silver/gold colored rims. You get an IP53 rating against dust and minor water splashes. Honor offers this phone in four color options: Elegant Black, Sunshine after Rain, Brown Blue, and Burning Orange with a leather back.
Camera
Talking of the optics, the X50 houses a dual-camera setup like the X50i. However, the primary camera here is a 108MP shooter instead of the 100MP on the X50i. It can digitally zoom up to 8X. While the secondary camera is the same 2MP depth sensing unit. Upfront, you get an 8MP camera for snapping selfies and taking video calls.
Performance
On the performance side of things, the X50 is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset under the hood. This 5G silicon from Qualcomm features four Cortex A78 cores at 2.2GHz and four Cortex A55 cores at 1.8GH frequency. Handling the graphics is an Adreno 710 GPU. The chip is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Likewise, booting the X50 is Honor's MagicOS 7.1.1 based on Android 13.
Keeping the device on is a 5800 mAh battery. This Li-Po cell supports 33W wired fast charging. And the connectivity features on this phone consist of 5G, WiFi 5, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C port.

In China, the pricing of Honor X50 starts at CNY 1,399 for the base 8/128GB variant and goes all the way up to CNY 1,999 for the 16/512GB trim. We can expect the Honor X50 price in Nepal to begin from NPR 30,999 when it launches here. And providing biometrics security is an in-display fingerprint sensor.
