Gionee M15 is built around a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There is a center-aligned camera cutout.At the back, the phone has a left-aligned camera module with round corners. The rear panel also has a physical fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, Gionee M15 packs MediaTek's Helio G90 SoC. This chipset includes two Cortex-A76 and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores. Moving on, M15 flaunts a quad-camera setup at the back. This includes a 48MP primary and a 5MP ultrawide camera. In addition, there are a couple of 2MP sensors for macro and portrait shots.The circular cutout on the front encloses a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
