DJI's Avata FPV 4K drone was launched last year in Nepal with Pro-view Combo. Now, it's also available in Fly Smart Combo. Here, we will be discussing the DJI Avata FPV drone in more detail, including its specs, features, latest price, and availability in Nepal.
DJI Avata Overview:
With its improved camera and build quality, the DJI Avata FPV drone is poised to dethrone its predecessor. It works with the DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Motion controller, but it is also compatible with the company's FPV Remote Controller 2 and FPV Googles V2.
Camera
The DJI Avata features a camera solution similar to that of the Mini 3 Pro. It houses a single 48MP CMOS sensor with a 155-degree FoV and 1/1.7-inch optical format. The sensor is rated for ISO between 100 to 25,600 and the shutter speed ranges from 1/50s to 1/8,000s. Furthermore, Avata uses 4-in-1 pixel binning which combines data from four pixels into one.It supports 60fps 4K video recording, and 2.7K and 1080p videos at up to 120fps. Besides, it also has gimbal stabilization and supports RockSteady and HorizonSteady modes.
The Avata can be used in three different modes: Normal, Manual, and Hybrid. In Normal mode, the FPV drone operates in a similar fashion to other DJI drones with satellite navigation or visual positioning systems.Manual operation of the DJI Avata is only possible with the FPV Remote Controller 2. As the name implies, it provides complete control over the flight for an immersive FPV experience. The Hybrid mode combines the best of both worlds, with dynamic movement capabilities and Normal mode safety features.
Battery
The DJI Avata packs a small 2420mAh. According to the company, it offers a flight time of 18 minutes at 27 meters per second. This should allow the drone to cover 11.6km within that time frame.
