AYANEO is a China-based handheld maker. The company has launched two new consoles, the AYANEO 2S and AYANEO GEEK 1S, powered by AMD Ryzen 7 7840 APU. Without further ado, let's get into the specs, features, and expected price of AYANEO 2S and GEEK 1S price in Nepal.
AYANEO 2S and AYANEO GEEK 1S Overview:
Design and Controls
In terms of design, the AYANEO 2S and GEEK 1S boast identical dimensions. The former one is a tat bit lighter at 667 grams as compared to the latter one's 672 grams weight. Meanwhile, the GEEK 1S misses out on Adjustable Motor Vibration, Zero Power Consumption Standby, Adjustable Joystick Sensitivity, Trigger Sensitivity Adjustment, and Gyroscopic Alming Assistance.
Display
Talking of the screen, both gaming consoles sport 7-inch IPS panels for those visuals. However, the AYANEO 2S gets a bezel-less FHD display with 500nits peak brightness and 130% sRGB color gamut support. On the other hand, the GEEK 1S has an 800P screen with bezels and 500nits peak brightness. The official site does mention a wider color gamut but it doesn't mention the actual data.
Performance
Under the hood, both siblings get the horsepower of a Ryzen 7 7840 APU based on TSMC's 4nm process. For starters, APU stands for Accelerated Processing Unit, which comes with integrated graphics. The Ryzen 7 7840 is an Octa-core CPU with 12 threads and a 16MB L3 cache. Handling the graphics here is an integrated AMD Radeon™ 780M GPU with a 2700 MHz frequency. And to keep the consoles cool in long sessions, AYANEO has infused a 3+1 copper tube, a large copper sheet, and a graphene patch. Both handheld consoles are configurable up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage while the 2S takes it even further to a whooping, 4TB storage. Getting to the vibration motors, the 2S consists of an HD Linear motor while the Geek 1S gets dual X-axis Linear motors. Also, the former comes with a SoundTapMagic sound vibration as an additional goodie.
As for the OS, the Duo runs on Windows 11 64-bit Home Edition. Keeping the gaming action on is a 50.25Wh battery. And talking of the ports, you get two USB4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD slot supporting Extreme Speed TF card (300MB/s). For wireless connectivity, there is support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
AYANEO 2S and AYONEO GEEK 1S Price in Nepal and Availability
The gaming consoles are available for preorder for the starting price of USD 699 (Geek 1S) and USD 949 (2S). We expect the AYANEO 2S and AYANEO GEEK 1S price in Nepal to begin from NPR 105,999 and NPR 143,999 if and when they launch here.
