Design and Display

Asus has revised the TUF F15 chassis for 2022, which is now 4.5% smaller. It is available in two different finishes: Mecha Gray and Jaeger Gray. While the body is more petite, the trackpad is 26% larger.

Asus TUF F15 2022 sports a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display; the display specs depend upon the SKU. The base variant of the laptop refreshes at 144 times per second and covers just 62.5% of the sRGB color gamut.However, the model that is available in Nepal boasts a faster 300Hz refresh rate and covers a 100% sRGB color gamut. There is also a variant with a WQHD screen but it is not yet available in Nepal.

Performance and Memory

Asus Gaming TUF F15 (2022) houses the latest Alder Lake processors from Intel. For now, only the i7-12700H variant has made its way to Nepal. It offers clock speeds up to 4.7GHz and has 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores.Globally, buyers can pick between a wide range of GPUs ranging from RTX 3050 to RTX 3070 GPU. However, Nepali consumers are limited to the RTX 3060 version with a TGP of 140W. This includes 115W of regular power, plus 15W of Dynamic Boost.Irrespective of the configuration you choose, you will have the option of MUX switch which allows the laptop to bypass the integrated GPU in favor of the discrete one.More so, the latest Asus TUF F15 (2022) supports dual-channel memory with a total capacity of 32GB. The variant that is available in Nepal features two DDR5 RAM sticks of 8GB each. Likewise, there is 1TB of M.2 SSD for storage.

Rest of the specs

Based on the configurations, Asus TUF F15 comes with either a 56WHr or a 90WHrs. Asus TUF F15 (2022) which is available in Nepal comes with the latter. Likewise, there is a 240W power brick inside the box. In terms of wireless connectivity, there is WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Furthermore, it houses a 720p camera in a protrusion above the display.
