After the huge success of Flare, Anker decided to follow up with the Soundcore Flare 2. Although it was unveiled back in 2020, it is only now that the Flare 2 has made its way to Nepal. So, let's get right into the features, specifications, and price in Nepal of the Anker Soundcore Flare 2.
Anker Soundcore Flare 2 Overview
Design
The Soundcore Flare 2 looks much like its predecessor- except for the circular light on the top. There are a few small changes though. Like the power button on the top and the BassUp button on the side. The cylindrical (bell-like) shape, dimensions, and weight are also pretty similar to the Soundcore Flare. You do get an IPX7 rating for protection against water splashes and such. And, there are now 6 different lighting modes (as opposed to 5 on the Flare) to choose from.
Anker Soundcore Flare 2 ships with the same 360° sound. However, the dual 10W drivers make it sound much louder than its predecessor (with 6W dual drivers). The microphone is embedded inside the speaker for making calls. As mentioned earlier, there is a button that activates Soundcore's 'BassUp' mode. This, combined with the DSP chip and dual bass radiators, claims to deliver twice the bass of its competitors.
Connectivity
For connectivity, the Flare 2 comes with Bluetooth 5.0. An interesting feature here is their 'PartyCast' technology, which claims to sync 100+ speakers for a louder and fuller sound. This not only syncs the music but also the lighting of the connected Flare(s).Additionally, setting up the Soundcore app gives access to different customization options for Flare 2. You can choose from multiple light modes, EQ presets, and even toggle settings remotely.
Battery
As for the battery, the Soundcore Flare 2 has a huge 5,200 mAh battery which lasts around 12 hours of playback. This means you can party all day long without worrying about plugging it in. Furthermore, the Flare can charge to 100% in just 3.5 hours via its USB-C port (on the side).
To say something about myself, I have been writing tech and gadgets from 2021. Although coming from a non technical studies background, I'm someone who is always fascinated by the latest gadget and tech innovations, circling around. Besides writing, you'll find me listening music and aligning the stars through astrology and sometimes even, tarot cards! 😉🧿
