Amazfit has just announced the latest member of the T-Rex series. The new T-Rex Ultra is the company's most premium smartwatch in the lineup so far. So, let's look at the specs, features, and official price of the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra smartwatch in Nepal.
Amazfit T-Rex Ultra Overview:
Design
The T-Rex series watches from Amazfit are known to sport rugged and tough designs. And the same goes here, the new T-Rex Ultra is made out of super-strong 316L stainless steel. It also introduces new mud-resistant bridges and buttons. There are four of the latter— with a similar build as the main body while the middle frame makes use of a polymer alloy. Finally, the watch also sports adjustable slugs that promise a comfortable fit despite all the design reinforcement. The smartwatch also bags the MIL-STD 810G certificate, proving its endurance in rough conditions like 70°C and -30°C temperature.Likewise, the watch boasts 10 ATM water resistance. There are two color options available: Abyss Black and Sahara Colorways. It weighs 89 grams without a strap and is 13.45mm thick.
Display
The company has opted for a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with HD resolution (454 x 454 pixels). The screen has a 326PPI and supports up to 1000 nits of peak brightness for outdoor actions.
Dual Band GPS and Offline Maps
As the T-Rex Ultra is designed for adventure enthusiasts, the company has provided a dual-band GPS here. The smartwatch uses L1 and L5 GPS signals for precise location tracking. On top of that, it is compatible with six global satellite systems. There is also a new Automatic GPS mode that changes the positioning system based on the available signal strength.Another interesting feature is the offline maps. The watch lets you import route files and use them simultaneously with offline maps downloaded from the Zepp app. The location points can be saved alongside the favorite routes for quick access. Likewise, for return navigation, the T-Rex Ultra can show a straight line to the starting point.
Amazfit T-Rex Ultra supports extreme adrenaline sports like skydiving, free diving, Alpine Skiing, and Triathlon. In addition, there are 160 sports modes in total with automatic detection on nine of them. With the EN13319 & ISO6245 certifications on the watch, users are good to go for up to 30 meters of free diving with depth and water temperature data. The T-rex Ultra can withstand water pressure equivalent to up to 100 meters.Likewise, the watch is capable of auto-detecting 25 exercise types within the Strength Training sports mode while tracking the reps, sets, and rest time. And the AI-powered Zepp Coach is also there for providing personalized training plans and guidance.
Health Tracking and Connectivity
The smart wearable features a BioTracker 3.0 PPG sensor for continuous heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), and stress evaluation alongside one-tap measurements for all three of them. Similarly, the watch also consists of other features such as sleep monitoring, PAI health assistant, menstrual cycle tracking, etc.The T-Rex Ultra has Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and WLAN 2.4GHz for wireless connectivity. It pairs with a smartphone via the Zepp App, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Battery and Others
The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra gets its juice from a 500mAh battery. It charges via a magnetic charging base and takes around 2 hours for a full charge. The battery life is rated for up to 20 days of typical usage. With the new Endurance GPS mode, the watch boasts 80 hours of battery life even with GPS-tracked hiking or climbing activities. It can also show alerts of storms, tide warnings, and high-altitude Blood-oxygen reminders for adventure junkies. You can't take calls from the watch as it lacks a mic and speaker. Though, the watch supports quick reply action on call notifications.
