Alongside the new Band 7, Amazfit has also launched its latest rugged smartwatch in Nepal. The new Amazfit T-Rex 2 was announced in May and is finally available in Nepal. So, let’s get into the specs, features, official price, and availability of Amazfit T-Rex 2 in Nepal.

Design and Material
The Amazfit T-Rex 2 is not a smartwatch for everyone. It’s a smartwatch designed to accompany you on adventure sports. So, it's built to last extreme weather conditions. The watch tested against 15 military-grade durability tests. It can resist temperatures as low as 40 degrees C and high as 70 degrees.Moreover, T-Rex 2 can withstand humidity, salt spray, shocks, ice, and freezing rain. It even has a 10ATM rating against water.The main body is made of a polymer alloy and has a total of four buttons. It comes in multiple colors. However, only the black and green variants are available in Nepal for now. You get a 22mm Silicone strap with a classic pin buckle with the Amazfit T-Rex.
Display and Internal Hardware
Amazfit T-Rex 2 sports a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED screen. It’s an HD panel with a pixel density of 326 PPI. It also boasts a brightness of up to 1000 nits for clear visibility under sunlight. Inside, you get all the basic sensors expected on a smartwatch. It has BioTracker 3.0 PPG sensor for continuous heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), and stress evaluation. The watch can even warn users if these metrics are abnormally high or low.
You get features like sleep monitoring, PAI health assistant, menstrual cycle tracking, and one-tap measurement. Moreover, Amazfit T-Rex 2 comes with 108+ sports modes built-in. It can automatically detect 8 of them. The watch also has a dual-band GPS with 5-satellite navigation. T-Rex 2 even supports return navigation and import of trail routes from the Zepp app. The app is available on smartphones running Android 7.0+ and iOS 12.0+.
Battery Life
Amazfit T-Rex 2 packs a 500mAh battery rated for up to 24 days of typical usage. You can further extend it up to 45 days using the battery-saver mode. On heavy usage, the endurance lowers to about 10 days.Likewise, you can expect 26 (Accuracy) to 50 (Balanced) to 58 hours (Power-saving) of backup while using GPS. At ultra-temperature, the watch can last up to 9 days without GPS and just 10 hours with it.
